Duel Drinkware has joined forces with Swim Good Clothing Company to create a new line of shirts/clothing. The idea of Swim Good came from Amaya Potts and Justin Galler, two teenagers with a vision.
We sat with Justin Galler and asked about the vision of Swim Good.
“At Swim Good Clothing our mission is to create quality clothing that can spark inspiration and conversations,” Justin explained.
Swim Good is a phrase to signify “Good Luck”. Historically, the phrase has been used for centuries to advise that the path chosen is not easy and choppy waters are ahead…so swim good.
Swim Good started in January of 2016 when Justin Galler drew a Hamsa hand, an image from the Middle East, recognized and used as a sign of protection. The Hamsa is commonly believed to provide defense against the evil eye. Justin posted a picture of the drawing with the caption ‘Swim Good’, thus beginning what would become a daily trend; posting a picture everyday with the caption ‘Swim Good’. “It has come to signify anything that brings joy or interest,” said Justin.
Duel decided to work with Swim Good in making their designs a reality. We tapped our good friend Dan Lastick of Lastick Drafting to illustrate Justin’s drawing to create the first design for Swim Good. The Hamsa Hand design can be purchased on a Metallic Gold, Silver Reflective, or a Black & White shirt.
The second design for the Swim Good franchise comes from our good friend Scott Fricke. We utilized Scott’s iconic Chicago Design from our pint glasses and created a great shirt design with a 4 color screen printed process.
All shirts are made with 100% cotton and shirts will only be available as Limited Edition (While supplies last).
Swim Good Clothing would like to wish you “Good Luck” in your chosen path so ‘Swim Good’!
