Whiskey In A Can

StillhouseCan720FB
Metal has been used to drink whiskey for over 100 years.  Tin cups, flasks, and now a stainless steel can.   Stillhouse Spirits Co., based in Louisville, says its six new products come in a “first-of-its-kind” package: a stainless steel can.  Not to be confused with Van Brunt Stillhouse, this whiskey promises to be a whiskey you take anywhere you go. According to Stillhouse, their brand is designed for the parties & outdoor “From a backyard barbecue, a beach bonfire or a tailgate party, Stillhouse travels where glass can’t go.”  Essentially, it’s a 750ml flask, but a great looking can at that!

Similar to a liter can of olive oil, in a great shade of Red, the steel can holds 70ml of 80 proof (40 percent ABV) whiskey, made from an estate-grown corn and distilled in Kentucky and Virginia. Currently, Stillhouse seems like a flavor based whiskey company with their Original Moonshine Whiskey, Apple Crisp Whiskey, Peach Tea Whiskey, Coconut Whiskey, Mint Chip Whiskey and Red Hot Whiskey to compete with Fireball.

“Everyone today is looking for special experiences and ideas that defy their expectation,” Stillhouse founder and CEO Brad Beckerman said in the release. “That’s why we created Stillhouse, which challenges traditional barriers and goes where spirits haven’t gone before. This is a crafted whiskey in an innovative package and we will continue to be disruptive in everything we do.”

Pick one up today, suggested retail $27.99.
