5 Drinks To Get Over Losing The Powerball Drawing

2. WHISKEY SOUR

If you feel sour after losing 1.5 billion dollars, so make this easy drink at home and sit and wallow in your stew of sourdum.

Ingredients
Bourbon
1 oz (2 parts) Fresh lemon juice
Preparation:
Shake with ice. Strain into ice-filled old-fashioned glass to serve “on the rocks.”

3. MOJITO

The best cure to getting over losing $1,500,000,000 is by drinking the sweet nectar of the Cuban gods, mojito. Being depressed with a mojito in your hand is an oxymoron. Here are some budget rums for this drink.

Ingrededients
2 teaspoons of sugar
Juice of 1/2 lime
2 mint sprigs
2 oz. gold rum
4 oz. club soda

Combine sugar, lime juice, and mint in a glass. Muddle gently. (See in the photo, how the mint is still intact? That’s what you want.) Add the rum, several ice cubes, and top with soda. Stir gently, and enjoy!

4. CAMPARI & SODA

When you’re salty, bitter, sour, and plain annoyed that you couldn’t think of 4-8-19-27-34 & 10, there’s no better substitute then Campari.  It’s sour, it’s bitter, but it’s good.

Mix Campari with soda water in a jug. Add ice and orange slices and serve.

5. TEXAS TWO STEP

No better way to get over your salty mood than with a Texas Two Step.  Easy to make, but if all these ingredients are just not doing it for you, just go with straight tequila in an IV into your veins.  Maybe that will help you forget of 4-8-19-27-34 & 10.

Ingredients
1.5 oz. Tequila Tres Agaves
.75 oz. Texas grapefruit shrub
.25 oz. Yellow chartreuse
.25 oz Pineapple juice
Squeeze wildflower honey
4 drops fennel bitters
Pinch of Alaskan smoked sea salt

Add ingredients to glass cocktail shaker. Stir so that the honey is mixed with liquid. Add ice and shake. Pour into a double old fashion glass over fresh ice.
